Monthly grocery support for widows

When a woman loses her husband, she often loses her family’s only income as well. With no one to earn, putting food on the table every month becomes a constant struggle, especially for widows who are also caring for young children or elderly parents.

Through this ongoing programme, QS Foundation for Social Welfare provides a monthly grocery kit to widows in need. Each kit covers essentials such as rice, dal, cooking oil, sugar, tea and other basic provisions, so families can eat with dignity throughout the month.

How we help

• Our volunteers identify and verify each family before support begins.
• Grocery kits are distributed every month, with care for each family’s privacy and dignity.
• Support continues for as long as the need remains.

How you can help

Your sadaqah, however small, helps keep a family fed. A regular monthly contribution lets us plan ahead and reach more widows.
