This policy explains how QS Foundation for Social Welfare (“we”, “us”), which operates Sadaqah Support, collects and uses personal information. We handle personal data in line with Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Information we collect
- Donors: name, email, phone number, donation amount and date, and (where needed for tax receipts) PAN and address.
- Trusts: organisation details, contact person, registration documents, PAN and bank or UPI details.
- Website use: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies.
How we use it
- To process donations and send receipts.
- To verify trusts before listing them.
- To show donors their donation history.
- To answer enquiries and send important updates about your donations.
- To keep the website secure and prevent fraud.
Payments
Online payments are processed by our payment gateway partner. We do not store your card, UPI PIN or netbanking details.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help run the website (such as hosting and payment processing), with a trust you have reported a donation to, or where required by law.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing qsfoundationofficial@gmail.com. Some records may need to be kept to meet legal and accounting requirements.
Security and retention
We use reasonable security measures to protect your data and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
